The Station of Riḍá

Today nobody is pleased with anything, whether the government or the weather. Everything Allāh ﷻ creates has benefit. If you are satisfied, things will go smoothly and you will spread good energy around you.

Oppression Is Darkness

Oppression only gets darkness, many darknesses. It cannot bring any good thing. There is no oppression in Islām. The peaceful Muslims, who love Ahlu l-Bayt and all the Ṣaḥābah, who follow sharī‘ah and ṭarīqah, the madhāhib and sunnah are quietly waiting. Oppression cannot go on forever.

Hurry for Two Things

In Islām it is not good to hurry except for two things. Hurry to pray and to repent. Your most important work in dunyā is the five prayers. You don’t know when you will die so clean yourself everyday by asking forgiveness. In Ākhirah prayer is very difficult and repentance is not accepted.

Make Things Easy

The Prophet ﷺ said, don’t make things difficult. Everyone has a different capacity. If you take on too much ‘ibādah, after a few months you won’t be able to carry it and will leave everything. Relax and accept what the Prophet ﷺ said, and don’t listen to Salafīs and the people of Shayṭān.

Yawmu t-Tarwiyah and Yawmu ‘Arafah

Today is Yawmu t-Tarwiyah and tomorrow is Yawmu ‘Arafah, special and blessed days. It was the sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ to leave Mecca on the 8th, and spend the next day at ‘Arafāt. This is Ḥajj. Allāh ﷻ is teaching us something this year by restricting the Ḥajj but there is still much reward in fasting these days.

You Only Cheat Yourself

When you try to cheat Allāh ﷻ by being insincere or lazy in your prayers or not keeping your word, you only cheat yourself. Allāh ﷻ is not in need of your prayers or your charity and He ﷻ knows your intention. In this time, people cheat by teaching ignorance in place of knowledge.

Don’t Do Anything According to Your Dream

Allāh ﷻ created men on different levels. The prophets are the highest and of them the Prophet ﷺ is the highest. Our dreams are not the same as the dreams of prophets. When you dream something you don’t have to follow it. Be happy for good dreams but they are not orders from Allāh ﷻ. You must not follow dreams which are against Sharī‘ah.

Help Us to Do Good

Tonight is the first of the ten holy nights Allāh ﷻ mentions in Sūratu l-Fajr, the first of the holy month of Dhū l-Ḥijjah. There is no Ḥajj this year. Allāh ﷻ is waging war on humanity in order to make them remember Him ﷻ. When Allāh ﷻ wants something, do not oppose it. The most important thing is to be with Him ﷻ.
