Believers pray for to be on hajj and make takbīr. It is possible for you to gather with your hearts. Send your souls to be honoured with mercy and kindness. Every holy Friday night, believers, ask with your heart to be gathered in holy places for guidance and mercy. The goodness servants do for other servants brings us pleasure of Allāh ﷻ. Be merciful to those on Earth so that Allāh ﷻ be merciful to you. But do not tolerate evil, oppression and badness. There is no place for it in Islām.
Nafs and Rizq – Ego and Provision
Nov30 1982 Turkish 35min
The ego wants to be god. It has so many tricks to make us leave belief in Allāh ﷻ. Even worship can be its weapon. Today we serve the nafs and forget our Lord. We worry about over population when Allāh ﷻ can provide for all.
How to Bear Dunya
Nov30 1982 Turkish 9min
In this fragment of a ṣuḥbah Mawlānā discusses the phrase: "There is no ease in dunyā." He asks and he answers the question – how can we carry the difficulties of this world?
The People of Truth
Nov30 1982 Turkish 18min
Mawlānā gives a lesson in faith. He talks about the Awliyā’ and their nature and their affect on those who follow them. Although they are hidden, they hear and see and give support. They draw their perfection from that of the Prophet ﷺ, who takes from the absolute perfection of Allāh Almighty.
Islam Versus Unbelief
Nov10 1971 Turkish 48min
In a very eloquent sohbat Mawlana explains to an elite audience how the nature of Islam is to eliminate unbelief. He makes the point that the Prophet (sas) stood alone as the perfection of the religion and alone he shattered the darkness of his time with the light of Islam. Islam is the system under which the whole world can unite.
Between Two Nothingnesses
Mawlānā says that by desiring to exist we pass into nonexistence. He speaks on the meaning of "Die before you die."
How to Be Close to Allāh ﷻ
Call on Allāh ﷻ, recite His ﷻ Name, and remember Him ﷻ. Be near Him ﷻ like a beloved member of your family, and He ﷻ will fill your heart with His ﷻ Love. You will be truly alive Here and Hereafter.
The Power of Niyyah
Make the intention (niyyah) before every action. Make your praying and your fasting, make your life and your death for Allāh ﷻ alone. Then He ﷻ will assist you and give you strength as He ﷻ saved Ibrāhīm (as) from the fire.
You Are One Nation
In this old sohbet Mawlānā speaks of wisdom that applies to the current events in Turkey. The Muslims are one nation but they have become divided and weak. Allāh’s hand of power is with those whose hearts and goals are one.
Without Shāh-i Naqshband there would not be the highest ṭarīqah of them all, the ṭarīqah of the kings and ṣulṭāns. Awliyā’ like him are transmitters of divine blessing. Being in their presence, whether dead or alive, brings benefit.
The Naqshbandī Ṭarīqah
The Naqshbandī Ṭarīqah is the only way that is still alive because it can carry the burden of this time. The Mevlevi is only for show. The Naqshbandī has authority to train the elite. Sayyidunā Mahdī (as) will be Naqshbandī and all his deputies.
Shukr Yā Rabbi
People understand favours only when they are gone. What should we do? Say the blessed words: “Shukr Yā Rabbi, Al-ḥamdu liLlāh.” They please Allāh ﷻ and are proof of man’s pleasure with his Lord. Favours and shukr are linked. Forget to give shukr and favours depart. Allāh ﷻ will not question those who constantly give shukr.
Whom Should I love?
Religion means to love for Allāh ﷻ and to not love for Allāh ﷻ. The angels accept Allāh ﷻ is Wise and, He teaches. The young must keep the safe way of the holy-ones and stop following idols otherwise ahead in their lives they face much danger. Why are they in trouble? Their hearts love those whom Allāh ﷻ doesn’t love.
Hārūn ar-Rashīd and ibn ‘Arabī
If you obey your nafs you cannot obey Allāh ﷻ. If you do not obey Allāh ﷻ how can you call yourself a Muslim? When we are calling ourselves Muslim we are lying and no good can come of the deeds of the liar. The Awliyā’ have great authority given them by Allāh ﷻ because they obey Him ﷻ. They must help those in need. Who doesn't respect the Awliyā’ is astray. Mawlānā tells the story of the meeting of Sulṭān Hārūn ar-Rashīd with the saint ibn ‘Arabī.
Knowledge and Arms
Mawlana directs this talk towards young believers. He encourages them to strike against unbelief and non-believers using the way of knowledge, just as the Prophet initially used logic and reason against the polytheists of Mecca. The time to bear arms will come only when the one who holds full authority gives that order to all Muslims.
You Do Not Know It!
Mawlānā discusses the disrespect that the ‘ulamā’, the imāms and the mu’adhdhinūn show toward the Prophet ﷺ by not giving ṣalawāt after the adhān. He reveals the true nature of the Wahhābī movement and their age-old disrespect for the Prophet of Allāh ﷺ.
The Prophet, ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, sent the Byzantine Emperor Heraclius an invitation to Islām. Heraclius nevertheless was not to be blessed with Islām, despite acknowledging Islām as a religion of Truth and our Master as the True Prophet.
The Last Breath
Faith is a gift from Allāh ﷻ that is given to everyone but the time of its appearance is different. For some it only appears at the last breath when Allāh ﷻ takes His ﷻ servant to Himself.
